'Shekar Natarajan' (Chandrashekar Natarajan), born 23 July 1979 in Secunderabad, India currently serves as the North American Director of Supply Planning for Anheuser Busch, makers of Budweiser. Formerly he played key role of Director of Supply Chain for the Pepsi Beverages Company, PepsiCo division U.S.A. He is an internationally recognized Supply Chain Expert, panelist on International forum and a prolific writer in the field of Supply Chain Management, who has presented keynote speeches at major International Business, Supply Chain and Logistics Conference in North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe. He has shared his extensive knowledge and innovative concepts, which have received worldwide accolades. He is the developer and co-author of a revolutionary planning methodology '"Planning by Design,"' with co-author Richard Muther and Simplified Systematic Network Planning - Six Steps to Effective Network Planning with Lee Hales. He also serves on the board of College Industry Council of Material Handling equipment & Material handling Institute of America and is Co-Chairman of Institute of High Performance Planners. He also serves as an advisory board member of “DC Velocity” a leading Supply Chain magazine. He serves on the board of Colalife, a non-profit organization committed to children's health in developing countries by using innovative supply chain concepts to deliver medicine. His current includes Supply Chain Excellence and Dominance Matrix recognized by leading Supply Chain Pundits as Ground breaking. This is believed to revolutionize how companies embrace Supply Chain and its evolution to drive Business Excellence and will be published in Harvard Business Review. He was the key architect and led the Pepsi Beverages Company's DSD Transformation program which was recognized with 'Supply Chain Innovation Award' by Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals for 2010.

A frequent speaker at National and International Conferences, Shekar was the keynote speaker at Movimat 2008, the largest Latin American Logistics show. The Government of Brazil formally recognized him for the content and insights he provided for developing and managing supply chain processes. His contributions won him the 2010 Medallion Award, the highest honor from Institute of Industrial Engineering. This has been awarded to 20 individuals in the last 60 years who made significant contribution to the field of Industrial Engineering. Shekar received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology after earning his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering degree in India.[1][2] He has received worldwide recognition for his contributions. He is considered a leading Supply Chain scholar and professional with an incredible desire to make a difference to the organizations and community alike.
